Rhode Island man, Francisco Medrano, was able to fight off attempted catalytic converter thieves when they tried to steal the valuable part off his car while he was inside of it eating breakfast.
Medrano has since been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries, and still has his catalytic converter.
