Georgia inmate, Kavian Thomas, tunneled through a wall in an attempt to stab a fellow inmate, Derondney Russell, in a nearby shower stall.
While, yes, that is bad, it also forced officials at the Fulton County Jail to look deeper into the facility’s “deplorable” conditions that made the attack possible as officers found weapons in both inmates’ cells that were made from parts of the dilapidated building.
All around, it’s really just a bad time for everyone involved…because, prison.
