Athletes are often used as spokespeople for various products, companies, services, etc. but back in the 80’s, it was far more catchy and fun!
Michael Jordan, for example, is often referred to as the king of endorsements with one of his most notable being his longstanding partnership with Nike.
Before that, though, he was doing commercials for products like Ultra Star Hair!
This 1988 commercial in particular promotes a new line of shampoo, pomade, conditioner, etc. by showcasing its capabilities with a cast of dapper gentlemen (including Jordan…) singing about Ultra Star’s benefits alongside Coming to America’s Lisa McDowell.
Who knew he could sing!?
