For many, including Pete Davidson, that’s sealed VHS tapes of favorite films. However, Davidson is fully invested in this side hustle as he pitches on “the Tonight Show.”
Of course, he starts off by explaining how he was really high. He then realized that in 2026, it’ll have been 20 years since the last VHS was made which is enough time for the nostalgia value to skyrocket. So, he bought somewhere beteeen ,000 and 5,000 sealed tapes and has been keeping a close eye on how much their value is online.
“Rocky just sold for like $27,000,” he said. “Yeah, it’s my GameStop! Like, dude, I own all of them. Dude, no one believed in me.”
