Think back to your grade school days where, no matter what state you were in, there was some form of standardized testing. It was a time where your regular routine was put on hold, if you were lucky there were snacks, but you had to sit and fill in bubble after bubble for hours on end.
Well, an elementary school teacher in Texas found a way to take at least some of the sting out of state testing with “survival kits” for each of her student on exam day. The kits were envelopes, decorated by the students, filled with snacks and a surprise letter from a loved one with some words of encouragement!
