If you are lucky enough to live in a state with stunning foliage in the Fall season, there is only a short amount of time where the colors are at their peak. That means, if you want to see it, get your Instagram photos, etc. you’ve got to do it quick and you’ve got to find the perfect location.
This Vermont town, though it’s been a popular fall destination over the years, is sick of being in the middle of all the leaf-peeping chaos every year and is actively working on ways to block tourists from their property.
Residents do, however, want tourists to know that they are welcome and encouraged to visit Vermont, just not on their street.
