As much as some sports fans may not realize, referees are people too! Much like everyone else, referees can come from all over and have certain, regional accents as a result.

Take this Pennsylvania high school football referee, who is so committed to never pronouncing a “W” he’s been hailed as “the ultimate yinzer referee” across the internet.
