We’ve heard the stories before of how folks have performed various activities while receiving brain surgery, as a way to make sure that part of their brain is not damaged. Now, meet Diana Freyta, who sang Lady Gaga while getting a tumor removed o he could still sing for her children this holiday season.
Freyta noticed she was struggling with her memory, then her vision started too deteriorate, so she went to see what could have been causing these issues.
That’s when doctors found an eight-centimeter tumor in her brain.
When it came time to get the tumor removed, Freyta sang a Lady Gaga song called “Always Remember Us This Way,” as the doctor performed the surgery and even duetted with her for some parts.
