As the Athletics kicked off the season at their (temporary) home opener against the Chicago Cubs, visiting players having to walk across the field to use the restroom wasn’t even the weirdest thing that happened (CLICK HERE)!
In the bottom of the seventh inning, the game came to a halt as someone flew a drone onto the field. Luckily, it was flying so low that a brave A’s batboy was able to reach up, grab it and stick the neck of a bat into the propellers.
While the A’s continue the season at a minor league stadium in Sacramento as they await their move to Las Vegas, we look forward to further hijinks.
