The Laramie Project- One Night Only- A part of the 50th Season of the Black Hills Community Theatre

April 12, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Black Hills Community Theatre continues its 50 th season with a one-night- only staged reading of The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project. Conceived and
created in the aftermath of the 1998 killing of gay college student Matthew Shepard, The Laramie Project is a theatrical portrait of a town coming to grips with vicious, hate-fueled violence. 20 years after Matthew’s horrible death, the show stands as a breathtaking collage exploring the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of compassion of which we are capable.

The Laramie Project is directed by BHCT Artistic Director Zach Curtis. This 50 th Season Special Event has a cast of 67 local performers including David Andrews, Tommy Bader, Blake Benson, Jessica Benson, Shelbi Blankartz, Hannah Bowman, Todd Brink, Chris Coleman, Travis Cummings, Zach Curtis, Adare Diers, Scot Dobbs, Rebecca Dodds, John Easton Jr., Rani Eimers, Jessica Fabin, Austin Fisher, Holly Godber, Terry Grant, David Gross, Rodger Hartley, Jill Haugo, Brad Heinert, Sarah Hendrickson, Ann Hengen, Jonathan Herrera, Hillary Hill, Robert Hill, Crystal Hohenthaner, Nicholas Johnson, London Kahler, Marcia Kahler, Jason Knox, Joanna Lawler, Joey Lore, Laura Lytle, Kevin Martin, Robert Martin, Michelle Martinson, Patti Martinson, Ted McBride, Mary Linda McBride, Caitlin Monahan, Kameron Nelson, Kurtis Nelson, Lynn Nelson, Duane Neugebauer, Taylar Perez, Holly Perli, Heather Pickering, Ryan Puffer, Marian Reed, Jason Reuter, Brady Riker, Chris Schilling, Scott Schipke, Natalie Slack, Jeffrey Alan Smith, Daniel Snethen, Justin Speck, Colleen Staudenmaier, Kayli Stiles, Keely Texel-Geldert, Gary Thoreson, Kherdine Weber, Albert Williams, and Libby Williams.
