Recently, Alabama TV reporter, Valerie Bell, thought she was covering some breaking news involving a domestic dispute, a chase and a car in a lake but instead, it was a elaborate plan of her boyfriend’s to pop the question.
When Bell arrives to talk to local police near said lake, she doesn’t know her boyfriend was actually in one of the patrol cars until he sneaks out and an officer tells her to turn around as he is down on one knee behind her.
