As the Masters gets underway, there were a lot of fun moments, contests and festivities leading up to it.
In the annual Par 3 contest, Rory McIlroy let his daughter try to help him finish up on the green of the ninth hole.
It’s a pretty long putt that would make any golfer a little uneasy, but four-year-old Poppy McIlroy taps the ball, initially sending it on a slow descent toward the hole.
Eventually, the ball picks up speed and it becomes apparent that it’s going to go all the way.
She sinks it, celebrations ensue and she nuzzles up to her dad in what was a beautiful moment for them both and hopefully a sign of good things to come for McIlroy.
